Christmas pregnancy announcement for hubby

I'm a couple of days late. I will probably wait the weekend before testing. I was thinking if it's a positive of surprising hubby on Christmas. We have an 18m old. I don't want to buy anything since we are stretching our budget thin over the holidays. But I kind of want something more than just the stick in a gift bag. So, I'm just looking for some idea.
