Looking for a new mommy group
Any cool, drama free mommy group around? Earlier this year I joined a mom group that I found on here (La Social mom) and since joining in Feb, the mom who started the group is super mean and talks a lot of crap about the moms in the group. Most recently she said she was done hosting events and then started removing moms from the group chat. I’m looking for a drama free group of moms who like to have fun and not gossip.
I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I gave up trying to stay in or auditioning for mom groups, I even tried to start them thinking maybe that would work.. I’m not good at group dynamics in any other area of my life.. so I realized it isn’t realistic for me to expect I will be good at being part of a mom-club. I instead focus on strengthening the individual mom-mom relationships I have. And it’s been working out well enough. I hope you find what works for you.
