I couldn’t feel it dilating if that’s what you mean. I had some mild period pains that came in waves (about 4 mins apart by then? , I didn’t think it could be labour cos it really wasn’t that painful. Turns out I was already 3cm
I couldn't feel anything
Didn’t have a clue i was 2 cm dilated till the midwife did a check at 39 weeks 🫣 (wasn’t born till 41)
With my first I started contractions and they checked me and I was at 9cm so they think I dilated without feeling it for a while 😅
Not sure you would feel the actual dilation! Mine started with really bad gas cramps and shitting my pants like 7 times in a day. Then moved to the most painful feeling I cannot ever describe...the only thing I could compare it to is really awful low gas cramps mixed with something crushing your stomach? Then it would subside for a few minutes (I used a contraction timer app) then it would start again. All I could do was deep low grunting and breathe...and beg for all the drugs I could get! Good luck!
I felt Period cramps in lower front and back. Which I’m experiencing now but I’m only 34 weeks and on monitors at hospital. If you’re under 37 weeks, you feel contractions or constant cramping or both. Give a call to doc or Go get looked at for just precaution. I mean don’t worry tho because all women are different and I personally dilated to 3cm weeks before labor with my 1st. And to 5cm with my second weeks before labor. And I was perfectly fine. Both were born full term.
Every labour/woman is different. Firstborn I was having full contractions from 1cm dilated. With my second, I was 2cm dilated without knowing, crampy backache at 3cm and contractions started at 4
