I bought some from asda. They do some first walkers with softer sole and wise foot base. My little boy got on well with them x
Pre walkers/ toddler shoes from Clark’s. They have rubber soft soles so they can still map the floor out with their feet which is really important. Stay away from bulky thick soled shoes they’re not great for the development of their feet x
We’ve got just a pair of start-rite
My daughter is coming up to 14 months, she started taking her first steps around 11 months and has been properly walking since just after she turned 1. I got her some Clarks shoes and she cried as soon as I put them in and refused to walk in them. I then got her some shoes from a baby boutique that had less padding in them and she hated them at first. I put her in them when I took her out in her pram to get her used to them being on her feet, now she walks with them with no problems🤷🏻♀️ you might be able to find sock shoes I’m not sure what size they go up to but I’m sure they even do adult ones now.
Start with lightweight shoes if you can’t find any sock shoes. As she gets older she will be able to wear trainers😊
Another vote for start-rites!
Pre walkers from Sainsbury’s suit my little girl as she is nearly walking 🚶 x
My little one has a pair of start-rite, very light weight and flexible sole, after using them for a little while she can now confidently walk in trainers x
