Hey, i have planed c- section at Newham and everything went so well. the doctors and the team were extremely professional and i was pleased with it. i had my partner with me the whole time. i've spent only one night there and been in a private room just the 3 of us.
Do not stress and do not think too much of it now. just relax and stay calm. everything will be okay. Good luck
I’ve had two electives at Newham in 2021 and July this year. There were both amazing experiences. I was pretty nervous about Newham as I think it’s not long since it’s been out of special measures. Have to say the care I received was brilliant. I actually wrote to the CEO after my second the care was so good. Have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience.

@Mariyana did you request the private room? Or did they put you in there without asking?
Were your partners allowed to stay with you overnight?
Partners are allowed to stay and there were lots there. They have this arm chair thing that can be turned into a bed of sorts. Lots of women had their partners there.
@Dominique i didn't request it and was very surprised when i saw it but it was great
@Dominique yes they are allowed to stay overnight. my partner was there the whole time and during the surgery as well 😀
@Mariyana I have quite rampant adhd and was hoping for a private room too as I can't get comfortable on a shared ward 😅

My sister had a vaginal birth there with her two boys. We were just speaking about this last night and she said her care was really good.
