Stay at home blues

Being at home all the time really is making me depressed but I can’t drive sadly and my partner works nights so week days are just him working then coming home and sleeping all day then going right back to work. On weekends all I look forward to is getting out the house but sometimes all he wants to do is relax and I understand completely but he doesn’t know how much it disappoints me when we do nothing on the weekends. It’s not his fault and I’m working on learning to drive but it’s just hard since all my time is spent taking care of our newborn but I get too anxious to leave her home alone especially now that she’s breastfed and often refuses bottles. I know it’s my daily for not learning to drive before having a baby so please don’t be harsh and lmk if you can relate at all

Can you take lessons on the weekends?

@Brittany that’s a good idea! I could look into some

I'm in the same boat 🥲 I can't drive yet. I JUST got my learners even though I'm 28 😩 Been stuck at home for too long.

Is there anything you can walk to? We have a local park and like a Starbucks and McDonald’s that I’ll definitely try to walk to once my second is here. I too just hate being home and it’s so isolating, my husband works hard labor so I get he’s tired as well it just sucks
