Frustrated at baby every night

My 10 mo has mostly been rubbish at naps/bed times since birth. He needs a dummy & rocking to sleep. But recently it’s gotten so hard, I’m so frustrated every night at bedtime especially. As soon as I put him down, he rolls to his front and because he can’t go belly to back, he just cries. This repeats itself for 30-40 minutes. I usually get so frustrated with him that I just leave them room and get my husband to deal with him. No matter what a great/fun day we’ve had together, I feel like our whole day is ruined every night. The thought of him starting nursery in the new year and his teachers having to put him to nap gives me anxiety. What if they get equally as frustrated with him?!
