Post partum depression

I've been having what I think is really bad post partum depression. My mind seems to wander and focus on one specific thing. In my case it's an issue that I have with a family member and I can't seem to shake it. Anyone dealing with this where their PPD causes them to hyper focus on one thing? I feel like it's ruining my time with my son. :( how should I deal with it?

Thank you 🙏

I have it too, talk with your ObGyn they will give you antidepressants that you can actually take breastfeeding. I never took medication before, but I felt this time was really necessary as the struggle was big. Good luck with everything ❤️

How was it for you? Was it a fixation? It's my first kid and this PPD is rough!!

I was very sad and feeling my bonding with the baby was not very strong. Also very anxious so my OCD GOT worse and I was scared of doing everything with the baby, for example I drove alone with him after more than 2 months. The medication I take now is not very strong, it’s manageable and it’s helping me a lot already. I take 50 mg Sertraline. They even give this to pregnant women so it’s totally safe and the ObGyn can assist you with the post partum depression.
