Breastfeeding at night

So my 15 month old has always been a bad sleeper but he’d usually latch on for a couple seconds then drift back off to sleep and have around 1-2 actual feeds at night. For the last 5 nights he’s woken up every 1.5-2 hours and taken full feeds! Full on gulping for a few minutes, which fully wakes me up obviously. I’m shattered. But I can’t think why he’s doing it? He’s eating the same amount during the day and having the same feeds and milk in his cup? Any advice or ideas??? Thanks!

My son is the same age and the same. I think it’s a leap and growth spurt all on one. After 2 weeks we are now down to 1 or 2 wakes for full feeds

Growth spurt? Not feeling well?

@Elliott thank you! One week of this feels like a lifetime but hopefully he settles soon 🙏

@Reena I was thinking growth spurt but he isn’t increasing his daytime intake of milk or food, and he does have his big teeth coming through but I thought he’d just wake for comfort not hunger? Hopefully it ends soon thank you! x

I wouldn't bother trying to figure it out. They do this sometimes for whatever reason. You just gotta ride it out and be there for baby which you are x

@Reena true haha thank you for the support x
