Oh yeah this happened to us. It still does sometimes and the screaming goes on for hours. But then sometimes it’s me he wants so it goes through phases
Yes we went through it a few weeks back, and now he's obsessed with me and I'm finding it draining haha (31 weeks pregnant so I'm like ah personal space!) this morning he seemed like he wanted his dad again for the first time in a while, I was over the moon for some space 😂, was able to go the toilet in peace for the first time in weeks - luxury! They deffo go through phases. He really likes one of my friends at the moment too, so they really get clingy with different people at different times and I'm sure it's all developmental. If I were you Id enjoy the peace while it lasts, before he's back to wanting you constantly!
My daughter is exactly the same with me…. Man alive independent play does not exist when I’m around 😂😂 constant cling on. I’d like to say it’s a phase but for me it’s been like it for forever 😂😂😂
Yup it is a phase. My son is currently going through it with me. My partner had 2hrs of screaming non stop on Friday because I went to the shops and as soon as I walked through the door, silence but demands for constant cuddles.
