Y’all…I gave birth!!!

My baby boy decided to come on his own 4 weeks and 1 day early! Woke up to a big pop in my belly - water had broken - and immediately started having intense pelvic contractions. Went to labor and delivery and I was 2cm dilated. An hour later, 6cm, and hour after, 9.5cm. Stayed there for maybe an hour and a half and then started pushing! Pushed for 15 minutes and there he was. Immediately asked for an epidural because the pain was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced and I ALMOST missed my window with how fast things were going. I immediately felt major pain relief but it didn’t touch the pressure and need to push and honestly started wearing off by the time he was crowning (my tolerance for medication is wild). Anyway, he was born at 11:12am on 12/21, weighing 4lbs 15oz and measuring at 19in. He’s doing AMAZING!!! A very chill little dude. Also, this is my first baby, first pregnancy! Probably one and done too 😂

Realllly wish someone would have let me know you can still feel the pressure even with an epidural. I don’t think I breathed for the last two whole hours of labor the pain was so intense. 😅 Blessings to you and your baby boy and congratulations. You did it! 💙💙
