We do the toy rotation, have some put away and bring out after about 4/5 days. They tend to be the bigger stuff that we can’t have out all the time. So far it’s worked well. But stuff we have: Push Walker with bits to play on it, she can stand and play or sit and play Stacking toys Some soft toys Activity cube which comes apart, has lots of bits on it to keep her busy Ball pit A talking bear with lots of buttons to press, laces, gloves etc For Christmas she is receiving (from family): a ms Rachel doll A fold away slide which will eventually go in the garden Baby balance bike Baby push bike A water table for the garden when the weather gets better
Faves at the mo are probably: Balloons Puzzles (where you just take shapes (animals) out of the spaces and put them back in - she just likes emptying them, and they have different textures underneath) Stacking cups A plastic carrot (as she can chew it) Bubbles Foot stool to stand up against!
at the moment my one loves books, i got her book shelf so she is able to take them out and play .. also loves remote controller , keys , boxes , and to empty the drawers .. for the last two weeks she dod not tuch any toy
They do get bored of everything after a while 🫣, even with the best toys. Have you tried a toy rotation? Put all the toys away and at the start of the week only pull out 3-4. And then the following week rotate to new ones again. This way it feels new and exciting to them. Works with my little one.
