I would speak to your midwife and/or health visitor, there is a lot of support out there and they might have some tips on how to cope with certain situations xxxx
Have a research on baby blues! Your hormones take such a hit postpartum. I remember crying at the most ‘ ridiculous’ things and also dreaded the nights. But with everything parenting - it’s a phase and you’ll get through! I chose a podcast to get into with my firstborn to help through the nights. Can also mention how you feel to your health visitor or GP if you think it’s PND
This is completely normal and I went through this myself. Definitely seek help (therapy and/or medications) and lean into your network of family and recent moms. Conversations with recent mom friends helped me a lot, and made me realize that baby blues, anxiety, and challenges in first few weeks of parenting are very common. Things do get better. You got this!!
I was feeling the same I am now 4 days on meds and today is the first day I’ve felt more myself. Had to come back to my parents with my partner because I was so low and not in control of my feelings and anxiety. I’m 15 days post partum. You’re not alone ✨ xx
