When did your babies start to crawl?

I just went for my baby's 2 month well check and my pediatrician said she was already showing early signs of crawling. (scooting herself forward with her legs and pushing off of things). She said she wouldn't be surprised if she was crawling by the time she's 4 months. I told my MIL this and she said absolutely no way and that my pediatrician was wrong. I'm just wondering if anyone else has been told this or if I should expect it way later. TIA!

Sorry I hit 6-7 months but meant 4-5 months. And no it's not too early

My baby is almost 5 months and crawling seems wayyyy too soon

Oh nice didn't know these were early signs of crawling my baby is doing these as well he's 3 months

My lo was crawling by 6 months and walking by 10. She's now 18 months and my dad keeps saying she's going to need leg braces to straighten her legs out cause I let her walk to soon 🫠 we did absolutely Nothing to encourage her to crawl or walk but trust, you weren't gonna find a way to discourage this girl either 😂

My son was army crawling at 4 months, crawling at 5 months and walking at 9 months. I taught him none of that. My daughter is 5 months and is showing all the signs of crawling and can sit and roll if she feels like it but when I put her on the ground she's usually content to chill. Babies do what they want when they want regardless of what people think they can and cannot do.

Thanks everyone! I was mostly just taken aback by the way she reacted to me telling her that! I usually always trust my pediatrician but since I'm a first time mom i wasn't sure what to expect

5 months mtmy first one 🙂

Both kids at 10mo.
