I feel like mobiles would be distracting and keep them up longer. It may help them like their crib if that’s an issue. I was always paranoid about having something hanging over my baby.

We have a baby gym so you get the same benefits as a mobile but without the risks of something dangling above baby when sleeping as many people are nervous about that!

I think it depends on the baby. It didn’t help my son at all. He never played with it and he was always wanting to be rocked and then if he woke up he’d scream for me. But it helps my daughter a ton. She uses it to go to sleep on her own. She’ll reach and play for it when she wakes up too. When she wakes up she doesn’t scream she just plays with it and talks.

Tbh, we had something with our bassinet and we stopped using it because it honestly was a hassle to take on and off so that it wouldn't get brushed while we were laying him down in it

At least using it with the bassinet. We still have it.

It helped for a bit when my daughter was a newborn and going to sleep on her own in the crib. She's close to sitting up on her own now and I don't want to risk her grabbing it, plus she wont go to sleep on her own currently while teething so isnt using it.

Cosleepjng helps more than any crib mobile ever did, if you can do it safely

Omg mine is the only way my baby sleeps they remember sounds so that's cool

My baby loves her mobile. It keeps her entertained in the morning when she wakes up and I'm not ready to get out of bed. Sometimes I put her in her crib during the day so she can look at it. But it doesn't help sleep if that's what you were asking lol
