We are really similar here. LG is 9.5m, has approx 2-2.5hrs naps during the days and our night routine is the same - dinner, bath, books, bottle and bed. She normally goes down pretty fast however the last few nights she wants to stand up or crawl around for awhile. The past 2 nights she's woken at 3, she didn't fall back to sleep until after 5 this morning and woke at 7. Not sure about her but I'm shattered! 😴 She has been standing and walking around furniture alot so I'm not sure if it's just because she's learning new skills and wanting to practise at night maybe 🤷🏻♀️ x
Sounds like split nights! My little girl does this any time she's learned a new skill or is learning one. She kept doing it then she started pulling herself up. Is he doing anything new? If he is keep the schedule exactly the same but just make sure he spends all day doing the new skill and it should be over soon lolx
We’ve gone through spilt nights so many times! 6-8 months she was learning so many new things! slept through for a couple weeks now back to split nights as she’s pulling my to stand constantly 🤣 always after midnight awake for 2 hours. We just leave her for the 2 hours now as she just plays about and doesn’t cry. But also could be too much sleep in the day, we do half an hour morning nap 1.5 hour nap at lunch so last wake window is longer and it works when she’s not doing new skills.
We have the worst nights when my LO sleeps for over 3h in the day. For so long she needed 3.5/4 but recently it’s no more than 2/2.5 or we’re in trouble.
@Rachel most days i still, need to wake him up from his naps. I don't go over 1.5 hours. Would it still be too much?
Too much daytime sleep I would think xx
