@Joy ahh good luck, hopefully it works for you guys! I'm going to try after Xmas I think. My lg will never settle with dad ever so I think I may end up having to do it some how 😭
Mine has never settled with dad either but we’re seeing what happens if I never step in and just let her cry with him 😢 it’s heartbreaking to hear but my mind is such mush with the sleepless nights and my health is suffering. We were going to do after Christmas as well but we’re having unexpected house guests coming so we’re squeezing it in before then 🫠
The only way I managed is to do daddy bedtimes. We're on night 4 and we've had 2 bad bedtimes with hysterical crying for an hour and 2 with no tears. We've tried previously and he definitely screamed longer when with me as he knew I was withholding milk. Its so hard but I can't think of another way 😕
@Joy that's completely how I am at the moment, I don't know what else to do. I might have to try get him to do it an just hope she stops crying eventually, how did it go last night? Did she wake in the night for milk an dad just stepped in again each time?
@Lauren I'm thinking we might have to just try it an see what happens. I just don't see her settling with dad at all and I can't stand the crying 😭 Has dad been giving milk before bed? Did your lo wake up in the night for milk?
We’re literally doing this right now, tonight. She’s up in bed with her dad and lots of books. I heard the first couple nights take a long time but eventually she’ll learn to accept his comforting 🫣 mine wakes the same way, so I’m completely broken. We’re giving it 5 days 🤞
