Long labour
Is it common to experience a long labour? I’ve been having irregular painful contractions for 10 hours, is this normal for FTM early labour?

I don’t even know when early labor begun for me, but I was having increasingly erratic and often contractions for a week before labor. The day prior to my water breaking was more intense, but not really regular.
Mine was 17+ hours
I was in labour for 18 hours
Also FTM and my contractions were extremely painful and close together for 12+ hours before I progressed at all to active labour - my baby was back to back though. It’s tough but you can do it 💪🏻 every contraction is a step closer!
I was having contractions on and off for 2 weeks but only in established labour for 4 hours with my second baby. With my first, I didn't get so much as a twinge until my waters broke so I think there's no way of really knowing!
My first was 25 hours!
