Clicky hip

We have an appointment tomorrow for our daughter. The health visitor picked up that her hip clicks when she did her home visit and we got an urgent referral for a scan. Has anyone else been through this and can explain what will happen whilst there/any advice? Thanks ☺️

Not sure if 100% the same but my daughter had to get checked as she was breech. It was two nice ladies who just laid her out on a bed and just checked her over. I can’t actually remember if they did an xray or anything though!

We had this. It was very soft. An ultrasound (like when you were pregnant). You'll need to hold her still but it won't be for long and it won't hurt her.

Our son had one and they just strip baby waist down n then ultrasound there hips, they told us at the appointment that everything looked fine but they will send the official report through to the doctor and they will send us a letter with official results and he was fine like they ultrasound technician said. So they should say when u have ur scan whether ot not anything looks questionable. We were only there for bout 10 minutes x

We did! Our LO was 3 weeks eary and they said in the first day checks in the hospital that she had a colicky hip! We went for an ultrasound at 4 weeks- they lay baby in what looks like the thing that goes on your head if they want to keep you still, like two blocks and scan! I found this hard as she cried a lot but it’s not hurting them! They said her hip joint wasn’t quite to the degree of rotation that they like so they booked us back in for 4 weeks later! Went to that and it had developed properly and they discharged us. Letter arrived a couple of weeks later! Xxx
