Getting him back in the next to me

My little boy is nearly five months and the last few nights he has taken a real dislike to being placed in his next me . He tends to fall asleep on us during his night feeds but as soon as he touches the next to me he’s wide awake screaming the house down . Normally he would settle once I held his hand and he had our duvet over him till he dropped back off into a deep sleep but that’s no longer working 😞he only seems to settle in our bed which we don’t want to do so need to somehow get him settled back in the next to me . Any ideas ?
