Christmas naps!
Anyone else dreading naps tomorrow? š¤£
Weāre visiting family, and my little one hasnāt contact napped since around Augustā¦ she sleeps either in her cot with a blackout blind, or the carā¦ thatās it š¬ Carrier is hit and miss (more miss!) and she absolutely detests the pram so getting her to sleep in it is near impossible.
Weāve said to family well time our arrival after her first nap, but goodness know what the rest of the day will bring š¤¦āāļø Weāll be taking the pram and carrier with us but expecting to go on a panic drive in the middle of the afternoonā¦
(Sheās only recently transitioned from 3 to 2 naps, but has had a cold this week as well as teething so some days have gone back to 3!)

Nothing wrong with a little drive in the middle of the day. I spent most of the summer walking with the pram for every nap when she wouldnāt sleep in her cot. Youāve got to do what youāve got to do. I should add when we were out a few weeks ago my LO fed to sleep for the first time in 5 months. I waited until she was really really tired and went to a quiet room. She only slept for 25 mins and looked really confused when she woke up but it was enough to get through

I didn't visit family for my first daughter's Christmas for this reason, and we've always said that people are welcome to come to us, but as a rule, we don't travel on Christmas day, we either visit Christmas eve or boxing day and that's it. We are staying home tomorrow as a family of 5 and then visiting grandparents on boxing day in-between naps. Do you have a travel cot that you can take with you? And a travel blind?x
