Growing pains?

My lo is 17mo and since yesterday has been very difficult and cranky basically as if he’s tired but all day even after his nap. I don’t think he’s teething currently thinking of other growing pains but was wondering if anyone else has gone through this?

Mine is super whiny!!! I can't stand it

Same! 17 months old and has been much harder for naps, extra clingy and emotional - usually a pretty emotionally stable kiddo. What I have noticed (we are on day 3 or 4) is an increase in awareness of his surroundings and retention of information both recent and things from when he was younger. Like all of a sudden he knows things I just taught him but found a toy dart on the ground, ran to the garage and threw it at the adult dart board. My husband hasn’t played darts around him in like 9 months. Keep an eye - exciting things are on the horizon!

Im pretty sure there is a big development progression at this age! My son is much more aware than weeks ago. About to be 18m on jan 9th
