What’s your plan with feeding? You might not need a pump. I recommend going on the Car seat safety uk Facebook group and checking out their newborn car seat recommendations in your budget.
Honestly I think there’s a lot of hullabaloo about breast pumps and they kinda all do the same thing. I’ve been really satisfied with my Elvie stride, and others seem to hate it. I have a spectra too and don’t love it, but it’s super highly rated by others… I would stick to one of the main brands and find yourself the best deal. Don’t perseverate too much because there truly aren’t big differences between them. (Focus on whether you need wearable vs not, how much you plan to use, etc). Some people complain that the Elvie doesn’t pump enough, but I produce a ton of milk, so I think it’s protected me from going too far into oversupply I’m from the US so had pump covered by insurance - is that an option in the UK? Check it out so you don’t overspend! As for car seats, we invested in the uppa baby line (stroller, car seat, bassinet) because it is all interchangeable. We’ve absolutely loved it so far and it’s sooo easy to use and so convenient.
Momcozy M5 and Cybex Cloud T/Z2
@Lottie I’m wanting to breast feed only, hopefully 🤞🏻 And thank you I will have a look xx
@Claire I don’t think insurance is an option here in uk 😫 I’m wanting to pump a lot because I’m scared I won’t be able to breast feed well! I had a look at elvie, I feel like my heads going to explode all the options just want something electric that does the job without being to expensive and also reliable and won’t break! Xx
@Simona do you use momcozy m5, everyone seems to use them but when I do more research I find a lot of people hating them saying they break after a month etc… I really want something reliable for the price of them xx
Breast pumps I’ve looked at are Momcozy ones, and for a car seat would prefer an isofix one! Thanks xx
