Sickness

Did anyone else start suffering very early on with sickness? I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant and the nausea is through the roof.. I was very sick throughout my pregnancy with my little boy but I don’t think it started this early on. Looking for any advice/tips on how to help with this awful sickness and also how did people get through this AND look after a young child?! 😣

I started with severe nausea from about 6 weeks and it ended when I was about 9w 8d and also couldn’t eat much. I’m now 10w 2d. Glad it’s over and I can eat again. I found it difficult as I have a little boy. I just kept hydrated and ate small meals but even they were sometimes making me worse. Anything with ginger in it might help & definitely avoid any greasy foods… I made that mistake 😆🤦🏼‍♀️ hope you feel better soon x

I had the most insane nausea week 4-5 and then it almost completely disappeared until TODAY (9weeks2days) where I am absolutely fighting for my life🤣 It really helps me to just make sure I have eaten lots of protein. I know when you’re nauseous you don’t want to eat, but it’s the ONLY cure for me!! I also eat late at night so I can go to sleep and I wake up not feeling sick at all. It’s so nice

Hopefully you’re able to find a routine that works for you! I clearly have the capacity to be nauseous, but making sure I was able to eat enough has just helped me so much (yesterday I didn’t eat enough and today I am SUFFERING!)🥰

From 4 weeks with all three babies 🤢

Thanks everyone! I have noticed that when I eat it can help, but sometimes the nausea is just so awful it’s hard to function! I’m also back to work tomorrow after the Christmas break and not looking forward to navigating that at all 😅

It’s how I knew I was pregnant. I just went through it. 4 weeks long horrific, then it stopped overnight. Not sure if it’s going to come back though. The thing that helped me was ginger.

Yeah! Second pregnancy and the nausea was awful 4-9 weeks but it has now started to get better. I am 10 weeks and although food is still giving me the ick, I don’t feel as sicky x
