PGS report

Today we received our PGS report. 6 healthy babes! The report listed each embryos gender 😳... didn’t expect to see that. 5 boys and 1 girl. How do you all feel about gender selection? I’m obviously happy either way just to have a healthy baby but a part of me worries what if something were to happen to the female embryo while in storage. I’ve always dreamed of a baby girl and since all of my dreams have been let down through this process maybe getting a little control is ok?

Congrats!!! Pick the healthiest. I just found out today all of my 5/5 were genetically abnormal. I’m devastated I don’t have any this round 😕

I’m so sorry!! Yes we definitely plan on picking the healthiest. We get the grading soon. Just curious on what people’s thoughts were on this.

I think you should go with the girl and the boy. Could you have twins then?

I wish! The dr will only do one embryo at a time

I was over joyed when I found out about the gender of my embryos. 2 girls and 2 boys. It’s really hard to choose the gender. I’m thinking of going random without knowing the gender.

Yea I think I want the excitement of learning the gender like anyone else would. We get so much stolen from this journey already.

If I was in your shoes and it was my first, j would probably ask them to pick the embryo with the best grade

Tell them to pick the best one and just surprise you

I've gone private and they've told us there not allowed to tell us the gender, Id be happy to be pregnant as I've been trying for 5 years
