I was told by my doctor that as long as they roll over on their own that you don’t need to flip them back over, but don’t lay her down on her stomach, she has to do it herself. I’ve also read that on many accredited websites.

I get that completely... I worried about that also. I still think as long as there’s nothing next to her and her mouth and nose are clear that it will be fine. But..... if it makes you feel better to flip her back over, aside from waking her up, there’s no real harm. Worrying is the worst. I worry about worrying.
It's ok if baby is doing it on their own, it's probably just their preference! My 19 month old is still stomach sleeper to this day!
My mum is Adamant it's tummy sleeping, as both myself and brother back in the day it was the advise to put us down on our tums! Granted I won't be doing it, but if tum sleeping was ok back in the day, then as bub can roll by self I can't see the issue !
Same here, my daughter started sleep like that when she started 9 months and she seems comfortable to sleep like that. I keep stay up to watch on her sometimes. I also roll her when I go bed then she rolled her on her tummy again so she slept it through night. Now she’s near 11 months and she turn herself a a lot. Maybe better your health visitor to make sure.
The lullaby trust website is really useful about sleeping etc

Thank you x
I’m in the same position with my four month old daughter who is currently sleeping on her front.. from rolling herself when put on her back. Just noted all the info above xx
If you put them down on their back and they roll you don't need to roll them. Just always start them on their back. 😊
Babies enjoy breathing. She will be fine.
Both my babies have slept on stomach from a few weeks old and they are OK 😊
I have read this too. I think I’m just concerned that she struggles to roll herself back and don’t want her to get stuck/ find herself in trouble and unable to get out of it.
