I used Pinterest to see what was ideal my first time and picked and choose what I felt was important . Second time I just brought what I thought was necessary - pjs for you - clothes to go home in (I packed two outfits one my size before pregnancy and one one size bigger) - belly trimmer or waist trimmer - bathroom sandals (for taking a shower) - slippers - hygiene products - hair products - small makeup bag (everyone wants to take pictures lol) - baby pjs - onesies / socks / hat / mitts - baby blanket - camera (not your phone camera) It really all depends on what you would feel necessary

I'm 35 going on 36weeks. And haven't packed yet this is my 3rd baby boy. Tho I am about to! Bc I have a feeling little man will be here before his due date. Tho you NEVER KNOW. They got there own schedules😚😍😂
Yes dont OVER PACK. I did with my 1st... with my second so much easier but still less is more. I'd say have some baby outfits of choice, light clothes for mama, jammies for mama, you hygiene stuff , some makeup if you want. Going home clothes. And leave room for the freebies the hospital gives like diapers and wipes :)
Oh boy, I’m a November momma, but I’d better get a start on this! Don’t forget the snacks!
I’m due in November but wanted to be prepared and packed a bag already. I packed: Pjs and casual clothes for my SO and oldest son. Packed two outfits for home for the baby (one newborn size and one a size up in case he’s big) Blankets for the baby Slippers for me Pjs and comfy undies for me Toiletries for me Nipple cream (breastfeeding) Charging cable Little things for the baby in case we need them (diapers, wipes, etc) An outfit to wear home Nonslip socks Mini makeup bag Ponytail holders Nursing pads and comfy bras Probably more but those are the important things for me
I’m having a scheduled c-section on oct 11. So far I packed: For me: Clothes- 3 nursing bras, 3 pairs of big undies, 2 nursing gowns, 2 nursing tank tops and maternity lounge pants. Toiletries- deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, makeup remover, lotion, nipple cream, Mascara, lip balm. Pads. Others- haaka breast pump, breast pads, portable phone charger, kindle, headphones. For baby- 2 zip onsies in newborn, 2 zip onsies in 0-3, 2 going home outfits in newborn and 0-3, 2 plain onsies in each size. 2 swaddle blankets, 2 hats. For husband- he packed his own bag. So I have no idea. I’m hoping clothes? Lol

I’m having a c section too if not next the same week as you when I’m 39 weeks are you breastfeeding or expressing ?
I’m planning on breastfeeding but you never know if they’ll take. I heard when you have a c section it takes longer for the milk to come in, so I figured I would bring the manual pump just in case. It’s really small and doesn’t take up much room
I haven’t packed either I really need to get on it due oct 28th!!!

Tick tock I can’t get over how quick September has gone and that I maybe potentially bringing life into this world next week as I’m having him early via c section all the best with packing don’t forgot ear phones
This time I kept it simple because I knew I didn't use most things last time. -robe -birthing gown (not necessary, just personal preference) -nursing night gown - going home outfit for mom - toiletries (basic ones that will be packed last minute) - nipple cream - phone charger - nursing pillow (regretted not having the first time) - one outfit for baby plus gping home outfit for baby (realistically one outfit to go home in is probably fine) Not sure about dad this time, he will probably be back and forth because of my daughter at home. Maybe just some basic toiletries and a change of clothes if anything.
On top of the others must haves, I would add in to pack some pillows and breastfeeding pillow. You can just leave them in the car and have someone grab them if needed. It was a necessity for me for both pregnancies.... hospitals are stingy on the pillows. Also nursing nightgowns we're amazing to wear most of the time while I was in the hospital. https://www.motherhood.com/clip-down-seamless-nursing-nightgown/006-90941-91-L.html?country=US¤cy=USD&mrkgcl=917&mrkgadid=3206707164&product_id=006-90941-91-L&adpos=1o3&creative=193544367575&device=m&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3KzdBRDWARIsAIJ8TMTjV8iUJQdE02luVJTVBlswoXDpEpb7idw-43CLmNkSEp-9Q50lw4kaAvy7EALw_wcB

Yes I’m liking the idea of pillows I’m trying to google ways I’ll be able to hold my DS when breastfeeding as I’m having a c section and will be quite tender and definitely need to swap for more buttoned pjs I had some lovely soft cashmere ones I got m and s outlet which were a bargain but I don’t think they are practical right now lol
Yes I'd leave the cashmere at home 😀, the whole process is a bit messy!
Ok! You should pack: comfy LOOSE Pjs... Fridet (trust me... game changer!) Nursing bras Comfy robe Sandals/Slides (walk the halls) Going home outfit Baby going home outfit 1-2 swaddle blanket Toiletries Nursing pillow (optional... I used reg pillows) Favorite Snacks/drinks Money for the vending machines Phone charger Hair ties **Some moms pack depends Discreet’s...**
I would definitely make a checklist so you don't forget anything also would pack some conditioner, slippers, breastfeeding friendly nightgowns or dresses, high-waisted underwear,& your favorite pads but go up a size maybe try the nighttime & a lot of baby socks they work a lot better as mittens to I would also bring more baby clothes than you think you need because you're probably going to have a couple poopy blowouts
I had my bubba last year November. So I packed... Comfy pjs with dark long trousers (in case of leaking accidents) and short tops as they will be taking blood from you 2 types of knickers: black comfy grannies ones that can hold maternity pads and high waisted ones (in case of emergency c-section) Maternity bra Hygiene products even shampoo etc as even though that first shower after birth is sore, after being in labour for hours you will feel so refreshed Towel Slippers that are comfy and kind of big in case your feet swell up 3 x baby grows and vests. They are much easier to change baby as I was so scared I was going to hurt him An all in one coat and hat and baby blanket Nappies and wet wipes Dummy if that’s your thing Bibs And I can’t remember anything else lol message me if you have any questions 😊
The best things I packed were a comfy robe, slippers & shower stuff! That postpartum shower is magical. Also, not something you need to pack but something I wish someone told me.. as soon as you get to the postpartum suite, ask for a stool softener or laxative and take them regularly until you have a bowel movement. That first bm is not something you want to prolong :) Congratulations! Being a mama is the best ever. 💗

And the pill for gas if you had a c-section... that trapped surgery gas is horrid.
These are all great items to pack. I wanted add something that I didn’t know for the first time, whatever isn’t bolted down in the hospital room is fair game for taking! Ask for as many of the mesh disposable underwear as they will give you. (I purchased Depends and a bag of overnight pads for home use. Did it before delivery so it was ready when I needed it. If you get enough from hospital, you can return the unopened packages.) Also helpful to have on hand at home: we borrowed a mini fridge and stocked it full of juice, water and snacks. I struggled to eat full meals after both girls. It was so awesome to have snack packs of cheese and sausage. All I could take initially. We also thought it was awesome for keeping pre-made formulas bottles and pumped milk and not worrying about running downstairs in the middle of the night.

I always wished for a fridge and warmer in my room. I did keep a basket of snacks, mostly granola bars and related items, near the bed for night feedings because I'd be starving when I was nursing.
check out pink stork website for post baby or earth mama spray. lots of good reviews!

I will add the biggest pads you can find cause you will have a long and abundant period, also socks just in case. Also try to rub your nipples with rubbing alcohol every night to desensitized them a little, that's a game changer secret 🤯... Good luck!!!
All I had packed was pjs, shirt and some hotel travel soaps for the odd case of an emergency transfer to take place. I had a home birth, so everything I needed at the time was right there. I would say that buying depends were awesome to have compared to the cheap hospital ones they give you. So maybe consider that. Oh and a nice water bottle

Don’t forget snacks!!!! Seriously! You will want/need these during labor
Have a
NOTHING
Sports nozzle water bottle, so you can keep drinking water while lying down. Literally saved my life when my bp dropped during the epidural and even max drip on the IV was not giving me enough fluid.
What I'll be doing this time round I'll pack 0000 -000 as I use to only pack 4 zeros and my last daughter was 12 pound 1 and only fit in 00 so I was quite screwed haha
Fair play I still need to get stuff
Don’t forget headphones to listen to ur favorite music for relaxation purpose👍
