Just had my pre operative appointment. I thought I was able to drink water only from 6am but have been told no fluids at all from 6am. I have to be at hospital for 7:15, I’m a morning slot as I have gestational diabetes. Has anyone else been told the same before? Just seems a bit odd!

I had medical management this morning. Can anybody tell me how long it took for anything to happen e.g. cramps etc.? Or anybody had it fail and can tell me when they knew it had failed? 10hrs later and I just have a feeling it hasn’t worked. Thank you!
