Am 4-5weeks pregnant , and i called my GPs surgery to inform them, they said i have to do to a self referal to the midwife??? am confused because with my previous two babies the Gps surgery booked the appointments etc. Is it just a bradford thing or ? also how long till they contact me, ?

Girls I’m not able to get a midwife appointment every nhs clinic I call, they are saying in 9-12 weeks…. This seems really late I’m worried that I still haven’t seen anyone I’m 5 weeks today, does anyone know any good private midwifes I can go to?
