Potty training at night

How did you get your kiddos potty trained for the night? My son doesn’t wear diapers at all anymore during the day, but at night still wears a pull up to go to sleep. How do I eliminate this? Because he will still wake up in the morning and he peed in his pull-up 🥲

Dry night!

We've been practicing going to the potty when he wakes up from naps and in the morning and today was the first time he was totally dry this morning before he went. No midnight pee in the diaper! So proud.

So proud of my 17 mos old!!

I am so excited about a developmental milestone and have no other mommy friends to celebrate with! Following verbal instructions seems to have really clicked with him today! I asked him if he went potty and he said yes, so I asked him to go get the diaper and his wipes. My husband had to help a little because he...

Hi, my nearly four year old has never been to the dentist - it’s a massive struggle getting him to brush his teeth as he clenches his mouth shut but it eventually get done. I just know he will scream and refuse as he already does this with the hairdressers & the doctors. Does anyone have any tricks that may have hel...

Gp doesnt believe in teething nappies

So for the last 3 days, my 1yr old has been having diarrhea like nappies, where they are so unbelievably watery, they leak out. He even woke at 4am to do a humongous watery poo! He keeps tugging ear, and putting hands in mouth. His appetite is the same and still finishes his 3x daily milk bottles. However GP total...

Potty training for a long car journey!

We have recently potty trained our little girl but she seems to have regressed slightly and does have the odd accident when she’s too busy! We are travelling by car to France at the end of February - would it be wise to put a nappy on her for the car journey and of course stop if she lets us know she needs to go to ...

My toddler is Sept 22, I’m on day 7 of potty training and cried/feeling defeated today 🥲 can I get some hints and tips from those successfully potty trained please?

Following the oh crap potty training method. She is going for some wee’s herself but mostly when I prompt. She is actually pooing on the potty no problem, so I’m really grateful for that. She’s also still having accidents, standing and peeing without trying to get the potty! But what I’m most struggling with is shor...

Hello All, have any of you started potty training? I’m getting a bit mum shamed and worried that I have not started yet. My daughter can wee on the potty and on the toilet but will not poo. She is also aware when she pops and asks to be changed immediately. I’m a bit stuck as having our second in March so worried iv...

Teething question

My little one has been teething like mad the past couple of weeks. I’ve just managed to have a look in her mouth but it looks like there’s a tooth coming in on the side first? Could that be right or is that not a tooth coming through? I always thought the middle ones came first?

Potty training!?

Has anyone else thought of potty training their LO? There have been some mornings I’ve gotten my little girl up to get her ready for school (daycare) and she’s been dry, and then there’s been days she’s been dry after her nap. I know our littles will let us know when they are ready to potty train but I’ve been think...

Cavity or decalcification

Worried about my baby’s teething. The dentist said to just monitor but they’re looking more decalcified or I’m just hyper fixating. I’m so upset because we brush her teeth and she doesn’t eat alot of junk or drink juice.

Potry Training Help

We've been going since October 2024 and it's going *nowhere*. He will go a day of no accidents, and then the next two or three will just be constantly peeing on himself or pooping and I'm just at my wits ends. He will say, "I go potty" *after* he pees on himself. Or he'll actually tell me before, but it's never cons...

Potty training

I want to potty train soon (she’s showing lots of signs) I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing but I’m going for it. And I have tried to read all about it for weeks now. Do I use a small potty or do I get the actual toilet seat with the small part? If I use a little potty, should I have it in the living room or ...

Dentist

Have any of you taken your kids to the dentist as an infant? My baby is 7 months old. He has 2 fully erupted teeth on the bottom & currently cutting his top 2 front teeth. I noticed a spot on one of the top teeth coming through & I’m concerned it could be a sign of decay (maybe from his milk..I’m not sure). If you’v...

Agree or disagree - Waiting for the right age/child to show signs of readiness to potty train is not correct and delays children. If parents introduced potty to their children earlier, they would be trained earlier. Thoughts?

In some cultures the potty is introduced from when the baby can sit up unsupported. And although baby won’t be able to potty train at that age, the early exposure will help them get used to the potty and be potty trained by latest 2. I have friends who started potty exposure by 8 months and their kids were potty tra...
