How do I get my just turned 3 year old to understand that he needs to tell me he needs a wee BEFORE he goes not after, other than obviously telling him. Do they just get it with perseverance? xx

I checked my LO gums and feel a slight tear and when pressing down I feel something sharp. Is this the start of an eruption? How long before the tooth erupts? Anything I can do to ease his pain and irritability if this is in fact a tooth erupting?
