Reluctant Potty Trainee

I need help. My son is super reluctant in potty training, including tantrums when it is time to sit. I feel like we’ve tried every approach, all to no avail. He is three and is starting preschool in the fall. Any suggestions to those who have also had tricky toddlers?

Poopy toddler

How do I get my non potty trained 19 month old to NOT poop in the tub? 😭 she won’t stop pooping in it every time! Luckily my fiancé is a plumber so it doesn’t bother him to clean the tub after but it’s tedious when it’s right after she’s clean and then does it so we have to clean her again and then clean all the…

Potty training before new sibling

Hello! 7 weeks left of second pregnancy and I have yet to potty train my 2 1/2 year old boy. I just read a book and it seems like he’s hitting marks on starting…he can follow simple commands, pull his trousers down by himself, hides to poo… do you think 7 weeks is a mistake to train before new baby or just one of ...

Baby doesn’t settle for dad

Does anyone else’s baby refuse to settle for dad? I do kinda think this is partly my partners own fault as he conveniently “didn’t hear” our daughter whenever she woke in the night so I would end up going to her and when he comes in from work he’d rather play ps5 than sit down and play with her. I think he’s just be...

Am I weird for feeling this way?

So basically I had to have an emergent surgery to get my gallbladder out. Day 1 my husband and mom were here with me. Day 2 my mom and husband were both here with me but my husband was gone almost the whole day cleaning the house (very grateful for) but he came back 30 minutes before I had to go to surgery. My broth...

Toddler complaining of tummy ache

My tot has been complaining about tummy ache intermittently. I can’t pinpoint whether it’s something she ate or whether she doesn’t understand what tummy ache is but says it. For example she’ll say her tummy hurts in the morning but she wouldn’t have even had breakfast yet but has had warm milk. Sometimes half way t...

Teething.

Anyone’s baby started teething yet? I have a suspicion my 10 week old is starting to. She’s constantly got her hand in her mouth and rubbing her gums. She’s started resisting sleep and won’t settle unless her hand is in her mouth. She spits out her dummy now and wants her hand instead

Bf/ husband doesn’t understand

This man does not understand a thing about how pregnancy changes a woman’s typical body functions. I just called to make reservations for dinner which I wanted for 5-5:30 pm bc if I don’t eat by then I am STARVING. The restaurant only had 6:30 so I was upset because now I have to eat two dinners or at least a very h...

Is this fair?

So I work 3 days a week, my partner WFH 5 days. I do absolutely everything around the house and cook everyday while pregnant and look after our 3 year old. He currently pays all the bills. I am mentally and physically drained of doing it all alone. He says I pay the bills so I have to do everything else? Is this fair?
