Walking

Anyone else really struggling to walk long distances I went out into town for the first time in a while and I felt like I had to stop every 5/10 mins because I felt like all my insides was going to drop out or it caused horrific lighting crotch

Refuses solid

My son is almost 7 months old & he refuses all food other than his milk. I’ve tried so many. I haven’t introduced him to near as much as I’ve wanted to because of this. I’ve even let him play in it & hold the spoon. He just turns his head, arches his back & whines.

Weaning - toast

Hi moms, Silly question but how much of a toast would you give to your babies? Will offer her tomorrow and not sure how much would be an ideal amount (she is a good eater so I am afraid she might want a whole toast haha)

Potty Training

I’m going through potty training, that’s my New Year’s resolution but it’s fcking exhausting and I don’t know what to do. And I’ve been only doing for 2 days 🤣💀 my daughter has been fighting me today like every time I try she acts like I’m going in there with her to shove her head in the toilet 😩 I feel like I need…

What do we need for nursery?

Hi ladies now it's 2025 it seems close to when my LO will start nursery in April. For those whose LO are already going, what do you send them in with, what is nice to get? What size backpack do they need, how many changes of clothes and stuff? He's going in April so probably will still be muddy and he loves being ou...

How to ask partner for money as a SAHM

Hey ladies any advice on how to go about asking partner for some financial help he just went back to work today I don’t want to stress him out about finances but he’s going to work overtime regularly so that means more alone time with baby for me (which i don’t mind at all) I also just feel kind of sad and bored and...

Primary Schools

I have only taken university education in the UK so I'm not too familiar with the school system here but I understand our kids (born in July) can pretty much start school next September ( as soon as they turn 4) which is shocking to me. It seems so early and I can't believe we're almost there. I know we can also cho...

Nursery waiting lists

I thought people were being over dramatic telling us to contact nurseries already but the first one I called today have first availability March 2026! If you’re needing childcare from 9 months it is genuinely worth checking already! Not sure if it’s just where I am is super busy and I’m sure it’s not all the nurseri...

Childminder/nursery

Currently I’m a stay at home mum and I do enjoy it, but I’m also wondering whether myself and my little girl might benefit from me finding a job and her going to childminders or nursery for a few days a week. I do find being at home overstimulating, and intense and wonder whether I would actually be a better mum for...

Anxiety r.e. giving birth early

My birth partner has told me that his work has asked him to go on a business trip for a day and half, which is when I will be 38 weeks. He's going to Italy, which is only a 2 hour plane journey, but I don't have any family living nearby. I'm worried about potentially going into labour early, but also know that the ...

Feeding baby real food

Hello, I started making foods for my 8 month old. He normally eats a lot but gives me a hard time to eat food I make him even when I combine it either with sweet potatoes or butternut squash that he likes. Please give me any tricks to get him to eat food that doesn’t come in prepacked. Thank you!

7 month struggles

Is anyone else finding this age really difficult or is it just me? My LB has always been a bit more on the challenging side, I think it’s just his temperament as he’s got quite a temper and just generally has no chill 😝 The last week or so, he’s extremely clingy and I feel like he’s so annoyed with whatever I do.…

I’m struggling

My 3 year old has literally convinced me to never have kids again. I’ve never been so sure I never want anymore kids until I had my second so I guess the saying is true after all. It’s always your second kid. At least in my case. Don’t get me wrong. I love my baby. I am not saying I regret it. I’m just struggling. ...

Am I wrong for being upset?

I never know if I’m in the wrong and if I’m being overly emotional. But my boyfriend decided that he’s going to take a weekend trip 8 hours up north to go snowboarding. Originally, he was going to take me and our 17 month old with him and I was going to be able to relax in a nice hotel room & possibly go to the spa ...

Feel like I’m invisible

About 5 weeks ago I thought mine and my partners sex life was back on track. We were having great sex again like we used to do when we first met. Started even doing it 4 times a week. Sometimes even one day after another. We usually are only intimate once a week now and I’m 22 and he’s 24. We are very young and yes ...

So my 2 year old had a hitting incident in the park where a little boy hit him. He's now going around hitting everyone. We tried to tell him if someone hits you say don't hit me please & we've been teaching kind hands...

The other day in the shops he turned around and said don't hit me... I got some odd looks. How do I get over this so strangers don't think I hit my child? 🤦🏼🤦🏼
