Partner advice

Apologies in advance this is a long winded post… I’m currently 6 weeks pp and really starting to question my relationship with my partner. Currently we are renting and we are halving the bills equally, £500 each, however after paying rent and my own bills it’s leaving me with £90 a month for “myself” which by all ...

Feeding

Hi My baby is 10 months and still isn’t particularly interested in actual food, he still much prefers to have a bottle. Is this normal or is there something more I should be doing?

Anyone else’s toddler obsessed with plain butter?

I’ve noticed about a week ago when I gave my toddler some buttered bread that he was only eating the butter and leaving the bread. He then kept asking me to me top up the butter and just kept eating it off the bread. It’s now turned into a full blown obsession. If he sees the block of butter out he asks for it lik...

Feeling Hopeless, anger

My BD and I bought a house together back in August. We did it for leverage and so my son could grow up in a decent neighborhood. However we knowingly went into it about our complex issues. I just learned last night that he is ONLY doing it for our son and isn't really interested in the family dynamic. Lately, I'v...

Weaning amounts?

We're doing a mixture of purees and BLW and have been doing purees since 4 months. Curious as to how much food your little ones are actually having each meal as I am not sure if my boy is eating loads or nothing compared to others 🤣 Our routine is: Wake - 7oz Bottle Breakfast - Porridge (huge bowl!) 10am - Snack…

MIL

I just need to vent. I don't want to sound ungrateful as I'm not, I appreciate anything anyone buys for my little one. But my MIL is on another planet. Today is my little ones birthday, and my MIL sent her a present, which was a mixture of Easter and birthday bits. That's fine, not a problem, but the box was jus...

Potty Training

Hi, sorry if I sound a bit silly. When people say they’ve started potty training, does that mean no nappies or just offering the potty so they get used to using it?

Feeling the mum guilt of not interacting with my baby as much in the day- I’m currently on maternity leave, and feel really guilty for feeling like I’m constantly doing something round the house and not playing as much.

I feel like I can’t relax until things are in order and tidied, then like to get out the house for my well being even for a walk or to the shops etc. But feel guilty that my little girl is with me the whole time but I’m not fully present or I’m in a rush to do the next thing. I’m aware I’m doing it, but can’t switc...

Baby and toddlers shows (UK)

Are they worth going to if you have a toddler (a 2.5 year old toddler)…. or am I stretching it by going - is it more just aimed at babies?

What are you giving your babies to eat after nursery?

My son has tea at nursery at 3.45 and then a snack when he gets home at 6pm. He then has 8oz formula before bed but I want to cut his formula out now but worried he’s going to be hungry. Are we cooking our babies proper meals after nursery due to their nursery tea being so early??

18 month old is not eating enough

My lo is not eating as much as he used to. His appetite has significantly decreased. I understand his taste has changed but I try to offer different things to see what he likes. But it is very inconsistent. I am mostly worried because he is not at a good percentile on weight.

Punishment - what’s appropriate

Hey, can anyone help me. What’s an appropriate punishment for a 3 year old that’s been so naughty? I know she’s young and won’t 100% understand some things but something needs to change after today. She has a party on Saturday - I don’t think keeping her from that would help but am I wrong? What can I do? H...

Daycare questions!

Just a momma to one who’s 2. Throwing around the idea of daycare because our current babysitter (family member) we’ve had to butt heads more than a few times because of said person stepping over boundaries and then when talked to about it being told we are overreacting. But yall I am TERRIFIED of the thought of dayc...
