I need help, we don't know what to do

My son is 2. Thursday he spent the day throwing up and only wanting half a banana and milk. Friday he ate half a banana for breakfast, nothing for lunch, and I had to basically bribe him to eat half a McDonald's small fries at dinner. We bought him a happy meal hoping that it would get him back to eating something a...

Dungarees for a 4 year old.

I found some dungarees that I would love to get for my son who is 4, but my husband thinks he is too old for that. Now that I think about it, I have never seen children older than 2 in dungarees...

Husband wants to separate, wants custody of our 2 babies one week per month

Long story short my husband wants to separate. He works blue collar and wants to travel for work and live in a camper. He says he’ll come home once a month and take the kids for a week as far as a custody agreement. They are currently 4 months and 20 months old. I assume he’ll leave his camper where ever he’s work...

Involving LO with food

Hey! Wondered if anyone had started getting LO to help with making meals or food prep or baking. Looking for ideas for stuff to make with my son that is totally safe to eat raw in case he has a munch a long the way and also really simple and easy for an under 2 year old. He doesn't really have much understanding of ...

Am I being over sensitive?

I know this is silly, but I’m getting down about how many times people say my baby looks like my husband / his family (particularly my father in law) I feel so bad saying it because I love them all but it’s getting me a bit down, I think because I’m struggling too to see any of myself / my family in my baby. I’m rea...

Eating issues

My boy has never really taken to food much even when weaning, he doesn’t have a massive appetite. We then went through some allergic reactions which involved projectile vomiting and I now wonder whether this has contributed to him absolutely refusing new foods. It took us so long to progress from purees to solids...

Bone broth

Hi!! Does anyone know if we’re allowed to give babies bone broth? I know it’s great health benefits for adults and looking for a stock to heat chicken and food previously frozen. My HV suggested using gravy but unsure of the salt content. My son is nearly 8 months old. Thanks in advance

Am I being dramatic?

First off, let me start by saying I u distant my kids are 100% my responsibility. I live in a city where my husband’s mom is the only family, and I have two under two. So my husband’s mom is always saying she’s going to come over to be with the kids, but she never does. Like she literally voluntarily says she will ...

Why can’t we crack potty training??

I feel so concerned because we just cannot get potty training right. We have been trying since Easter time and had three really big tries with no nappies, charts, stickers the lot. Each time has gotten worse. I feel like such a failure and lost all confidence and feel it will never happen now. ☹️

Starting 4.5 month old on solids

My baby got approval from her ped to start solids and I’d like to start them too to reduce the likelihood of allergies. Solid starts though and BLW seems to be better started at 6 months so I’m curious for those who started solids before, did you stick to thin purées only? Or how did you do it?

How do I get my kids to enjoy crafts?

How do I get my kids to do anything other than screens? They're going to be 4 and 2 in March and anytime I try to set up and do any sort of craft or something not involving screens, it's just turns into someone screaming or them fighting or screaming because it's over after screaming about having to share. My 2 year old doesn’t play independently for very long and my 5 month old only has 30 min naps every 3 hours until bedtime. I’ll play with tod...
