Travelling abroad with a newborn ✈️

I'm wanting to go to my home country to surprise my husband's parents with their granddaughter but I'm super nervous getting on that airplane with a newborn.. Anyone have any advice on how to have a smooth journey?? because just the thought of it is giving me anxiety as it will only be me and baby travelling.

Baby crying when eating solids

My baby has suddenly started crying whenever eating solids over the past couple of days. Even if it's a chunky purée. I can't work out if it's a pained cry or a frustration cry. Could it be hurting his gums/teeth?

UK based housekeeping costs

I’m expecting my second baby soon, based on my first PP experience I’m trying to prepare myself the best way I can. One of the things on my list is to save for someone to come in and deep clean at least once a week. I’ve got a 3 bedroom house, fairly small kitchen and bathroom, getting quotes hasn’t been easy. Does ...

Baby only eats purees because of my fear

My 8,5 month old baby is still only eating purees. This because I am so afraid of her choking and I don't know how to get past this. I told my healthvisitor but she was very insensitive and not helpfull. I have a fear of choking myself (I avoid eating certain foods and don't eat on planes or boats). I know baby's...

1 year old eating habits

Hi! First time mom here…my one year old has suddenly started getting very picky about eating foods he previously LOVED. In particular, I’m seeing it happen with proteins. He tosses aside any protein and focuses only on fruits and carbs 😣 in the last week I’ve had to “hide” chicken in his rice or pasta just to get…

What’s the deal with Saturated Fats???

Have y’all been seeing these trends of mammas giving their babies straight butter, tallow, and whipped bone marrow? Obviously babies need lots of fat and fat intake should not be limited because it’s so good for brain development, but does that also apply to saturated fat? We’ve been giving him lots of avocado, egg ...

What food should I serve for 40 people at my daughter's 1st birthday party?

My husband's family is large, and we are expecting around 40 people. I have planned the desserts, but I'm still unsure about what to offer for the main food. What have you all done in similar situations, or do you have any suggestions?

I told him I want to wait till I get home so my spouse can pick him and my grandma up and come to the house so I’m in a more comfortable environment and I can collect myself better when I’m ready to have company basically… ...
