I'm 9 weeks pp and wondering when to expect it
Hey, just wanted to know how the exclusive breastfeeding mamas are doing. I have a 8 week year old and have been exclusively breastfeeding but considering pumping. If there’s any mums who started to use bottle can give any advice on teats or bottles. I’ve purchased nanobebe bottles but haven’t tried it yet. Also any...
So it’s been a journey, my little one is 8 months now and I’m going to stop breastfeeding. I’m not really too sure how to feel. I didn’t think this is how my breastfeeding journey would end. I’ve had endless comments, even today, saying my daughter isn’t getting enough milk, breastmilk is weak at this age, form...
Any breastfeeding mum taken lemsip? I'm really ill with the flu at the moment and am very congested. I was wondering if anyone had issues with it. It's not recommended for breastfeeding mums but I'm getting desperate for some relief
I left poultry in the freezer at 1pm. 8pm now and it is not frozen. I had to squeeze food in due to lack of space. Have I damaged the freezer??
I am starting work in February. My baby will be nearly 10 months. Will my supply be ok if I don’t pump at work? I will still be breastfeeding at home in the morning, evenings and night time. Will she still need milk during the day while at nursery? She doesn’t take a bottle and I’ve tried getting her to drink milk...
I have a very attached breastfed baby. What worked best for you to get them off your boob? Thanks in advance!!😊
So my girl is 9 months old and recently I’ve been feeling like I want to stop breastfeeding. It’s taking a toll on my mental health and I feel drained. I planned on BF for as long as possible but recently I just feel done. Has anyone got any advice on how to go about this, I know it would be difficult as she is ve...
Me to do this how do I make him understand and avoid this whole drama
My nipples are suffering. I’ve finally got some cream from the GP so I’m hoping it heals them quickly. Going forward does anyone have recommendations for nipple cream! Thus far I’ve used Lansinoh which I used in my first pregnancy and it worked great… this one however; I don’t feel like it’s doing anything
My eye doctor recommended I shouldn’t breastfeed for 48 hrs due to eye dilation medication used. I have some milk stored and my baby takes formula as well but I am scared my baby will “forget” how to breastfeed. She is 3 months. Has anyone had to stop BFing for 2 days or longer? Did your baby latch back?
Does breastfeeding really sag your boobs or is it a myth?!
Hi, I'm 3 weeks post partum and struggling with milk supply. I've been advised to pump 8 times a day, every 3 hours, after a breastfeed and top up feed. I find by the time I've completed all of this then I'm using up nearly the whole 3 hours. So I end up going over 3 hours if I eat, shower or do the laundry, Nappy ...
My baby has always been a bit fussy with feeding. She’s 12 weeks and bottle fed (has been since she was less than a week old). For the last few weeks, possibly more than a month, she’s started to turn her head away from the bottle (almost always to the left) and keeps coming off and on the bottle. This was happening...
To the point that I think my supply has dipped on that side. Strange, as that USED to be her favourite side prior to nipple trauma I got from pumping and a bad latch… anyway the latch is still TERRIBLE on the right boob… always comes off squished even though we relatch multiple times in a feed…. Occasionally it gets...
I am right-handed and find that I am naturally much more comfortable feeding him on the right boob as I feel more comfortable and able to position him and myself. Naturally - he seems more able to latch better on the right and prefer it too! This is becoming a bit of a problem despite trying sit up position (great...
I’m going in for my c-section Friday, just wondering how much colostrum you would suggest taking with you, I have got 43ml in the freezer but don’t know if I need to take it all or if I should get more I forgot to take any with my first so defo wanna take some, but not sure how much
Hi everyone, I have a bit of a dilemma of my own making and wanted your thoughts. I'm breastfeeding my baby and feel strongly about being able to do this openly and not covering up with a muslin (I'm wearing nursing clothes to do it so you can't see much anyway). I have a friend coming over soon who needs her husba...
Hi there, so here is my scenario: I don't plan on breastfeeding for personal reasons, however, I'm interested in harvesting colostrum before birth to give to baby when they are born, before moving onto formula. Does anyone have experience of this/know how this would work practically?
Has anyone else found their knickers aren't fitting? I expected to need bigger bras but not bottoms 😂 currently debating whether to stick with my usual or go for some granny pants 😂 all of my lace type ones are causing a bit of irritation too
