Baby is coming up 5 months and although breastfeeding is going very well, I do want to introduce a bottle of expressed milk to allow me a little more freedom now and then. Currently been trying Mam bottles with a size 0 test but baby straight up refuses and screams when I put the teatime in her mouth. I can barely g...

Vit d drops

HV said to put the vit d drops on my nipple as EBF. I assume it's the same to start dropping it onto a dummy instead as I'm always ruining clothes otherwise!

Breastfeeding is great, pumping is not. Tips?

Does anybody have tips for pumping? My baby has been EBF for 5 months and absolutely refused a bottle. He’s recently started to take a bottle so I want to pump instead of use formula but I can’t get anything out when I pump? I’ve tried a manual and electric, nothing happens. My baby is on the 99th centile and happy ...

Breastfeeding disaster

We're at day 5 and I'm afraid our breastfeeding journey is already ending 😔😔 My nipples are cracked and one has started to bleed... I've kept offering my baby the breast as much as possible since birth, but it seems that my colostrum was basically inexistent. She stayed in the breast literally for hours the first…

I hate breastfeeding

I hate breastfeeding but I don’t see a way out of it. Especially because my husband wants me to, if it was for me she’d already be on formula

How do I stop breastfeeding 😮‍💨

My boy is almost 13 months and when I'm at work he doesn't have milk. He only will have milk via breastfeeding. He will not drink it in a cup. I've only been at work for 2 weeks and when I'm near him I have found him to be pulling at my top wanting milk, more and more often. He is starting to hurt my nipples - I'm...

If you managed to stop breastfeeding to sleep, can you please share how

I want to stop all breastfeeding before second birthday. We are no longer breastfeeding during the day, but I don’t know how to do nap times and bed time without breastfeeding. I have tried rocking, offering milk - and it has not been a success. Would be happy to just go for a walk, but she isn’t good at falling asl...

Domperidone

Even whilst on domperidone do I need to pump every 2/3 hours? The domperidone has increased my supply over the last two weeks but not by a great deal at all! Before I would produce 40ml total every session, and now it’s perhaps 50/60mls per session. I’m pumping every time my LO feeds therefore approx 3.5 hours eac...

Breastfeeding moms

If you’re giving your baby breast milk in a bottle how many ounces are they eating? I mainly BF but if I have to work baby takes a bottle of breast milk and usually eats 4 oz. Just want to know what other babies are taking

How much breastmilk are you guys producing per pumping session? 15-30mins pump. I’m 3-4 weeks postpartum and don’t understand how people are producing enough to store and feed. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Inflamed duct

Hi ladies! I have an inflamed duct, and I’ve read a few articles with mixed advice. Some suggest feeding the baby first from the sore breast, then the other; others say to start with the unaffected side and switch to the sore one to ease demand and help it calm down. What do you all think?
