How much?!?

Hi all. I wonder if you could give me a guesstimate of how much expressed breast milk a baby should consume per hour? My partner and I are due to go out in a few weeks to the theatre so I need to ensure my parents have enough to feed our little one while we are gone. Thank you in advance of any replies!

Pumping to store

When is the best time to express milk? Between feeds or during a feed? My baby only drinks from one breast at each feed so left boob now and next feed right boob and so on., I don’t want to increase my supply I just want to keep some of it in freezer for emergencies or outings in case I go somewhere I don’t want to ...

Breastfeeding and bottle feeding

Have any moms here successfully breastfed and bottle fed? I am so worried about the sleep deprivation I just think it would be nice for my partner to be able to take over 1-2 feedings at night occasionally and to keep a supply if I’m not going to be around for more than a few hours. I would like to pump and breastfe...

Hand in shirt

I haven’t breastfed my toddler since 13ish months. For about a month after we stopped she kept putting her hand in my shirt when I’d rock her to sleep. We broke that habit but now at 18 months she’s doing it again! I really can not stand it. I know that sounds terrible but it’s like the worst feeling for me. Why is ...

Hi mumas my 5 1/2m old has her first cold ! Blocked nose occasional cough, and I have noticed today she’s off her milk, had around slightly more than 1/2 of what she usually drinks. Had normal wet and dirty nappies. When do you worry about how much milk they drink? Concerned about dehydration

Stop breastfeeding and pumping

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out for some support and kind words. I’ve had a really tough time with milk supply and sore, cracked nipples with all five of my kids. Thankfully, with my fifth (who’s now 5 weeks old), I discovered silver cups, and they’ve been a game-changer! They healed my nipples in just 48 hours—no pa...

Screaming during breastfeeding

3 and half month, exclusively BF no problems before. Over the last week baby has suddenly started resisting feeds. When I go to feed her she screams at the top of her lungs, it makes BF physically impossible I've had to express and she takes this absolutely fine. Bit of background she is on gaviscon and hasn't poo...

How long without milk

I’m leaving my 10 month old from 11-5 on Saturday. He is breastfed and I still feed on demand throughout the day. When he isn’t with me he feeds less (left him max 3 hours) but I’ve never left him for 6 hours. Is 6 hours too long without milk at 10 months? I can try and pump but it’s just faf 😂 he does eat and…

Weaning at 8 weeks?

I want to start gradually reducing breastfeeding from now on. We’ve been EBF since birth and I’ve been expressing but it’s been a really difficult journey. Do I Stop Breastfeeding, 3 months PP

Hi everyone - looking for some advice, I'm thinking of stopping breastfeeding at 3 months PP and not sure if the guilt is going to consume me. Little girl has always nursed at night, and I've pumped in the day and given expressed bottles since about 2 weeks old. It's going well and we supplement x1 bottle of formula...

How often is everyone else’s baby feeding??

Can someone tell me why my almost 8 week old is still feeding every 1.5-2 hours if that in the day 😭 the longest she’ll go without feeding is 2.5 hours. She is breastfed only but still, I feel like when she was a couple weeks old she was going for longer without feeds. Does it mean she’s not getting enough milk in…
