What time does everyone put their baby down for nighttime naps?

I put mine down around 7pm. Is that too early at this age? My 20 month old sleeps 7-7 so hoping to get baby girl to do this soon haha

Capping naps…

My daughter is taking longer to fall asleep at night. Thinking of capping her day naps (which are currently 1.5 hrs) to an hr. Anyone else done this?

How do you put your baby to sleep?

How does everyone put their baby to sleep and how long did it take for them to get used to that routine? For now we have moved my baby’s bed time forward, he used to fall asleep at midnight and now he’s asleep by 21:30 but even with that it’s an hour and a half of feeding, rocking and singing. I don’t mind doing ...

Sleep regression or new norm HELP

What on earth is going on. My little one won’t go to sleep until 10pm. Before she used to go to sleep 7/7.30 and literally nothing changed. We used to rock her for 5 minutes and she’d go in the cot . Now she screams and won’t be put into cot for hours. She used to nap in the cot now will only sleep on me or her dad....

Day nap difficulties

I find day naps really hard. My LB is 16 weeks corrected/ 21weeks actual and he goes into his cot lovely at night. During the day I have to have contact naps and I can’t sit down until he’s asleep and he takes ages to fall asleep just whinging, wriggling and pushing his legs up on me I can’t work out what’s going...

Aggressive behaviour

LG is increasingly getting frustrated when we try to enforce boundaries ATM. Today she got angry at not being able to cut, she screwed up the paper and threw it away, when I reminded her there wouldn't be anymore to waste she hit me in frustration, got upset when being taken to calm down and pulled my hair in the p...

Random one - head rubbing

My LO frantically rubs his head at each side when falling asleep. I’m aware this is probably self soothing but he’s making his little head sore. He has mitts on for bed as no matter how much I check his nail, he manages to wake up with a scratch. Just wondering if anyone else’s baby does this?

Increasing supply 11 months pp

Bumping my last post, absolutely desperate for ideas! Has anyone increased their milk supply quickly 11 months pp? I’ve been pumping for 15 mins every 2/3 hours and once during the night at 2:30am ish but I don’t actually get anything on the night pump and I’m feeling a bit disheartened. Trouble Sleeping in Big Bed

Hey Mamas! So, we moved our 2.5, almost 3 year old to her new room a couple weeks ago. She moved from her crib (she as climbing in and out as her own leisure… haha) to a twin size floor bed. She says she loves her room and her bed. She has been out of our room and in her own since 3-4 months. Is also successfully ...

Sex after birth

Hi! This is bit of an uncomfortable topic but not seen it talked about much on here. When did you guys resume being intimate with partners postpartum? Specifically women that had a vaginal birth? I had an episiotomy and forceps delivery so I’m a little scared. I’m almost 6 weeks postpartum and feeling ready to try...

Walking on eggshells with formula feeding mums

I just need a platform to vent. I want to start by saying I fully support every form of feeding!!! My boy is EBF and a lot of my mum friends are formula feeding. I’ve found that they get offended whenever breastfeeding comes up in groups. For example, we were at a mums group last week and the lady running the grou...

Anyone hit the 4 month sleep regression?

We hit 4 months on the 8th March, but I think the regression has hit slightly early. My LG used to be able to fall asleep independently and would sleep in her cot for most naps and was sleeping through the night 😭 Now however she wants only contact naps, is waking up several times a night and is feeding SO MUCH. Do…

Dock-a-tot or baby bouncer?

I want to quickly say baby would never be left alone and I know the risks around the sleep nests but I’ve been offered by a friend to gift me one of these. I have a baby bouncer although it’s quite large and bulky. I also have a Moses for downstairs. Because I have a toddler and am constantly switching rooms I want ...

Rolling in their sleep..

Anyone else’s 6m old roll onto their front while asleep? But also bang there head on the cot? My LO is in her own room and loves sleeping on her front. (We always put her to sleep on her back) Sometimes she rolls and bangs her head on the bars, anyone else do this? Did you just position them diagonally? (She...
