Next stage car seat

My little one isn’t ready to move out of her infant seat for a while but was thinking of buying the next seat in the Black Friday sales. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Ideally I’d like to rear face for as long as possible and to have rotation, but also have heard that this isn’t as safe?
