TMI but need answers

So I’m now 39 weeks pregnant since yesterday had alot of tightening cramps in my lower back and some painful twingy cramps in my lower belly and vagina. After a few hours the pain eased and has just been period like cramps. However I have had literally no sleep yet as I can’t get comfortable and I have now started to have loads and I mean loads of loose bowel movements/ diarrhoea, I’m feeling nauseas to the point I’m crying and my legs feel so week and shaky. Is this a sign baby is on her way and I’m about to go into active labour ? Last time I went hospital they said I was 1cm dilated and In early stages of labour, my waters havnt broke but I’ve been getting a lot more discharge then normal the past couple days aswell. Has anyone else had any of this? Is it normal or should I be concerned? Is it labour? Sorry if I sound silly I’m a Ftm and don’t know what I’m expecting to experience in active labour.

Exactly the same here at 39+2😕 I can’t sleep because my back is in absolute agony if I lie down then trying to get back up is even more painful (nearly screaming in pain earlier) along with period like stomach pain and more discharge 😥 I’m really hoping it’s a sign as I can’t take much more of it, luckily seeing the midwife later today

@Alex oh bless ya Yh i understand the pain and I’m in the same boat I really hope it means baby is soon to be here as can’t take much more. I ain’t booked to see my midwife again until my due date which is the 9th x

@Kally I did read that increased back pain can be a sign as baby is lowering and I’ve only had it since start of this week but I’m due the 7th and don’t see baby coming before then🙁

@Alex Yh I’m gonna try get some sleep and see how it goes through out the day if it gets any worse I’m gonna call up and see what they say x

I'd say yes and it might be worth calling your delivery suite and running by them what they advise you to do. I would start timing the cramps and pain unless its all the time in which they wouldnt be contractions? You are looking for it to intensify, hit a peak and then drop off x
