How many times a day are you puking?

I’m anywhere between 10-20 and my doctor gave me some medication but only gave me 9 of them, and it says to take every 6 hours. I have 2 refills and so I’m taking one every other day but still throw up on them. I’m tired. I was sick but not this sick with my first. I’m cooking dinner and since I started I’ve had to puke maybe 7 times. That’s just over an hours time! Anyone else feeling this way? Also I’m literally peeing my pants every time I have a big throw up…..anyone else or is it just my horrible pelvic floor?

I throw up once or twice a day. I think you should let your doctor know that you’re still between 10-20 times. It might be excessive.

You probably have hyperemesis

I go to the OB tomorrow, I won’t see my doctor but I’ll see another OB. Hopefully she can help. I feel like such a bad mom because I’m basically in bed all day or puking. Luckily my husband can help out right now but that will change in a week and a half.

With my meds hardly ever. If I don’t take them 5-10 times. Maybe more if I was up and about but when I don’t take them I try and stay in bed.

It sounds like Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I had that with my first and I ended up in the hospital because throwing up so much is not good for baby or you. During my first pregnancy I took zofran until the third trimester when I finally started to feel a little better. Now with my second zofran is not enough. This time around is worse. So on top of zofran my OB prescribed me Bonjesta which is supposed to be the best medicine after other ones didn’t work. I had to fight it with insurance because it’s $550 a 1 month supply. But I got it and I started taking it at night because it makes you sleepy and I have a 14 month old to take care of so it’s possible that it takes longer to see if it works because I only take it once a day instead of twice. But we’ll see. Give those names to your doctor so they can prescribe you some.

I was throwing up 3-8x per day and told my midwife, she prescribed Zofran. I take one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow, hoping second trimester brings relief. I'm sorry you're going through it, I know some folks have to try different meds bc not everyone finds relief from the same type. Definitely worth speaking up and asking for relief bc too much sickness can be harmful. Sending love and wishing peace soon

About 3-4 and 5-6 but it’s slowing down - I did a liquid diet fast for about 12 hours then smart periodic bland meal throughout the day and finally feeling better. Still nauseous when the wind blows but haven’t thrown up! Thank god!
