Have you tried contacting the clinic that gave you the pill? What are they saying?

No, not normal. You have bled heavily since May?? I bled for like 2ish/3 weeks max but you’re at 2 months…call them and have them do a follow up appointment. In the instructions it says to call for abnormal bleeding.

So I contacted my doctor and they did an ultrasound, and it appears that there is still some tissue left. So I need to do the surgery to remove the rest :(

I am sorry to hear that. I hope that they can help you soon! I never experienced it myself but I heard from others that after termination or miscarriage, if there is remaining tissue left, they may give extra medication to get it out and that surgery is the final solution. Perhaps that’s something you can mention to them and see if that’s an option. That’s in case you’re worried about surgery.

A D&C? I just had two done! It should be a quick procedure, just make sure if you’re bleeding heavily after to stay, don’t let them discharge you until they’ve checked your bleeding/levels.

So I got pregnant in March, and had a D&C and bled for about a month. Then I got pregnant AGAIN in May and this time went the pill route and it was extremely traumatic. My doctor did say they can just give me more pills but it would have the same effect and I dont want to go through that again, so that’s why I have to do a D&C to remove the remaining tissue. She said this is very uncommon, so love that for me. And she said that right after the procedure, they can just insert an IUD for me since apparently I’m extremely fertile and im not looking to be pregnant right now.
