Haven't given a multivitamin

It basically just occurred to me that I haven't given my son a multivitamin since he was maybe 18 months old. I'm now feeling insanely guilty as he's quite small too and doesn't have a great diet. Am I the only one that's forgotten? 😬😭

I don't bother. I wasn't given vitamins growing up and it's never affected me 🤷🏻‍♀️ In winter months I'm more likely to reintroduce them, but shall see how we go 😅

Maxi has never ever taken a multivitamin… because he won’t, he’ll either gag and throw it up or have a meltdown! Drs and nutritionist said not to bother and his diet is appalling

Thank you both. I feel better now!

I haven’t forgotten, was never recommended them by a GP and I don’t know if I’m convinced about the necessity of them. I’m reading the book Unprocessed People by Chris Van Tulleken now and it says that these vitamins are not really needed for healthy people. Unless there is medical deficit identified by blood tests and recommended by doctors, I don’t see the point personally. For some vitamins, too much is as bad as not enough, and because I can’t control and monitor it, I prefer to just focus on food
