cramping at 26 weeks?

This is my second pregnancy, but is it normal to start cramping (lower abdomen going to the sides and lower back) this early? i was having bad back pain and lower abdomen cramping last night, and i get some pain coming and going now, nothing to strong or too long and not too consistent. Not braxton hicks because i’ve been getting those for a couple of weeks now and i can tell. with my first i don’t remember getting uncomfortable or pain this early until around 36+ weeks

I felt this too last night. Also 26 weeks. This is mf first pregnancy

I am 26 weeks, first pregnancy and I had this last night too for the first time

I’m 26 weeks too and I had the same thing start happening this week and I went to the hospital to get checked out. Also my second pregnancy and I don’t remember this with my first

omg it’s so weird why are we all getting it??? even first time moms!

@Tonie was everything fine??

I’ve been having a lot of pains that weren’t there for my first pregnancy. Right now, my vagina hurts from walking, sitting, laying down. Just all the time. I went to the hospital and they told me it was ligament pain lmao. But now I have a new thing happening. It feels like there’s a popping sensation in my vagina associated with the pain. So that’s cool. 😭😭 you might just be having the pain bc your baby is growing and everything is stretching.

@Summer maybe, but it’s only on the left side now so it’s kinda weird. and i’ve also had popping but i feel it in my tailbone, every time i take a step. but since the beginning of the second trimester i’ve been feeling lots of pressure when i squat down feel like the baby is gunna just fall out 💀

I asked about cramping and when I should worry and I was told only if there was any bleeding or if the pain was so bad that I couldn't talk but that being said I would ask your doctor to make sure. I used to cramp a lot and OB said cuz it's my second and exercising can make it worse, especially anything core related irritates the uterus BUT she did tell me to call them no matter what, even if it seemed silly to me

Yeah. That’s also what I’ve been told as well. About the pain and the bleeding and stuff. But yes please call them and talk to them if you have ANY concerns!!

Thank you everyone!!! and i hope everyone is doing good/ better and the cramping has stopped or isn’t too bad to handle!

I have a birth ball and do some stretching + exercises that has helped the pain so much! definitely look into getting one if you don’t! there’s plenty of YouTube videos of exercises to do! Also hydration with electrolytes is key!!

@Stephanie thank you!!! i have one that i used to try to induce labor with my first lol, i have to go dig it up!
