I’m 9 days pp & I’ve been out and about for coffee / shopping but I probs my havent given myself nearly enough recovery time! My partner came down with the flu so I’ve been super mum and keeping myself busy!

I'm 12 days pp, only been out to go to midwife appointments and to my mums house (feels safe) otherwise I'm quite happy at home in my bubble

Second csection muma here been out and about since day 4 went to Asda with partner and baby a couple of walks had my first power walk 2 evenings ago..been to get the baby registered last week.visited grandparents house once . Doing better at the housework now than while pregnant (had low iron and sickness whole 9moths of pregnancy also depression) were doing one day out next day home since being out of hospital really iv bounced back alot faster this csection thankfully...I bleed very heavy for 5-6 weeks with my first and got a womb infection ...also my scar felt so much more painful and the recovery..this time minimal bleeding very little pain, no infections ( started antidepressants mid pregnancy ) so I skipped the baby blues too this time.

I'm 3 weeks 2 days pp now BTW x

Almost 4 weeks postpartum and have only been out once as the baby is a bit underweight and on exclusive breastfeeding. Need to top up every now and then. Did not want to deal with breastfeeding publicly if the baby demands. But plan to go outdoors after 6th week. Otherwise recovered quite well and have good support at home to cook and clean.

Been out everyday since day 1 but I had a terrible pregnancy and was virtually housebound so post partum for me has been 1000x better and I'm actually able to move about and do things. It's also my 2nd so knew if my labour went smooth then I knew what I could/couldn't do in my PP recovery. Still got a slightly clicky pelvis from the pgp and super engorged but nothing could ever be as bad as pregnancy for me 🤣🙈 x
