You might not be doing anything wrong! If you’ve been breastfeeding and have just started pumping it can take a bit of time for your body to know to make more milk. Your supply regulates around 8-12 weeks to meet your baby’s needs. Pumping today is putting in an order for more milk tomorrow, so if you’re consistent with it, eventually you should see better results! Also manage your own expectations: .5-2oz is a normal amount to pump alongside nursing, 2-4oz is normal is you pump instead of nursing. You also might want to look into hands on pumping, it’s the only way I get a decent amount of milk. You can also look up power pumping if you want to increase your supply quickly. And double check your flange size is correct!! Makes all the difference. Good luck! ♥️

@Rhiannon I have been pumping for 3 months and have decided to properly invest in this pump as I want to pump for a year 😕 the pump isn’t emptying me and I am in pain from being full still

Ah sorry, it sounded from your post like it was all new! Have you tried different flange sizes in that case? If you feel full and it’s not emptying you, that might be the issue. The guides mine came with suggests I’m a 24 but I actually use a 21 and a 22 x

@Rhiannon ahhh I didn’t know I needed flanges for it 🫣

I just ordered some flange inserts as I usually take 21mm and seen that the flange is 24mm!

The free system should come with a 21cm and a 24cm flange try both and see if you get a better input with one over the other

@Helen I have tried both and no different unfortunately. Milk keeps collecting around the flange against my breast, and this happens no matter how hard I push them against me…my inserts arrive today and I am sincerely hoping they help! I don’t understand why isn’t wasn’t working
