Morning Sickness

Has any of you Feb 2025 mummy’s morning sickness getting any better 😵‍💫 week 11 and nausea and exhaustion still hit me like a rock. First baby and extremely worried it won’t get better. If it does, did you find it went away completely?

I’m 12+6 and in the last week the nausea has definitely reduced. Still not gone completely…I’ve got to make sure I don’t get hungry and even then I still cop it sometimes (usually in the evenings) but a lot more manageable than it was up until the 12 week mark. The exhaustion is still real though and napping most days. This is my second and I was nowhere near this bad with my first 🫠 Here’s hoping it lets up for you soon! The struggle is real!!!!!!

I’m 11+3 and I feel a little better but still have bouts of nausea and vomiting. Same fear as you!

@Fenella I’m similar. I’m now 14.5 weeks, but my exhaustion lifted a bit (it’s limited to late afternoon and evening now, rather than all day) and the nausea reduced around the 12/13 week mark.

It’s so hard, isn’t it, Saaly? Just in case you weren’t aware, you can go to the GP for anti-nausea meds on a script. There are quite a lot of options and they can make a big difference. I had nausea all the way through with my first but it was manageable because I had meds that reduced the severity a lot. If you haven’t already, it could be worth seeing your GP. I didn’t know in my first pregnancy and didn’t get any assistance until about 17/18 weeks when I had a midwife appointment. I wish I’d done something about it earlier! I hope you can find something that helps you feel better. It can be such a slog.
