Induction

Ok so I lost my first baby june 2023 and am currently 34 almost 35 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. I'm looking into doing induction after 37 weeks due to already being in a lot of discomfort as well as being 45 mins from the hospital without traffic. Where your doctors willing to work with that to be induced after 37 week mark. I know they did tell me it takes about a week for the paper work to go through so I would be 38-39 weeks.

Most of the time, unless you have an existing medical condition, they will not induce you. I tried with my first and was denied and for my second I got one but because I was having a lot of medical issues. They offered me the option this time around as well but because I have medical issues this time around as well. Most places will let you induce once you're past 40 weeks

I think most will not induce until 39 weeks.

i'm now getting induced october 10th at 36 weeks due to medical conditions, so it is possible especially with the distance, i would definitely check with your gyno

My current and prior hospitals will only electively induce a you after 39 weeks. They won’t do prior to 39 weeks unless you have a medical issue (not just discomfort)

My doctor when I talked said they would induce at 38-39 weeks as long as I got the paperwork in at 37 weeks

My Dr is having me pick my induction date at my 36w appointment (so if it takes a week for paperwork to go through I could do 37w if I wanted). I would definitely talk with your Dr!

I am getting induced at 39 weeks, because my doctor said I have no medical issues that make it pressing to induce me earlier. That could always change, but she has no desire to have me get induced any earlier (even with my heart problems and 6 previous pregnancy losses).

I’m being induced at 37 w but I also have preeclampsia!
