Mucus plug, start of labour?

So yesterday I lost a little bit of my mucus plug and then again some this morning but bigger.. I’m 37 weeks on Friday, I’ve been having period cramps and the lower back ache along with tightenings for weeks now but it’s just not consistent enough.. could this be the start?! Interested to know when people lost bits of there mucus plug how quickly they ended up going into labour.. This is my second baby but I had an induction so didn’t have any of this with my first x

My ob said losing your mucus plug doesn’t mean anything bc our body is constantly making more.

I lost mine the morning of me going into labor with my 1st. With my 2nd I lost some mucus 3-4 weeks before going into labor

I lost my mucus plug at exactly 40 weeks gave birth 5 days later

It can be a sign for some people but officially it doesn't mean you will go into labour soon.

I lost parts of my mucus at various points throughout my pregnancy. But I had a bloody show with my mucus plug the day I went into labour
